1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website or engaging the services of Rise & Shine Painting Co. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Rise & Shine Painting Co. provides professional residential and commercial painting services, cabinet refinishing, custom murals, and related services in the Greater Portland, Oregon area. All services are subject to a written estimate and contract agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement of work.

3. Estimates & Quotes

All estimates provided are based on information supplied at the time of consultation. Final pricing may vary if project scope changes, unforeseen conditions are discovered, or if client requests additional work beyond the original quote. Any changes to scope will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in the individual project contract. Generally:

• A deposit may be required before project commencement
• Progress payments may be required for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon project completion and client walkthrough
• Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge

5. Workmanship Warranty

Rise & Shine Painting Co. warrants all workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects in our application of paint and preparation work. It does not cover damage caused by:

• Normal wear and tear
• Physical damage, abuse, or vandalism
• Water intrusion due to structural issues unrelated to our work
• Modifications made by the client or third parties

Paint manufacturer warranties are separate and subject to each manufacturer's terms.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
• Remove or protect personal belongings prior to work commencement
• Notify us of any known hazards (lead paint, asbestos, electrical issues, etc.)
• Be available for a final walkthrough upon project completion

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before a scheduled project start date are accepted without penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs. Deposits for materials already ordered are non-refundable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Oregon law, Rise & Shine Painting Co.'s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and AI-generated imagery — is the property of Rise & Shine Painting Co. and may not be reproduced or used without express written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Multnomah County, Oregon.
